Maxtor Black Armor is not supported so I would advise all of you to find a more reputable external hard drive source! It is supported for only 30 days for major issues; like mine! Then the rest of its five year warranty is basic b.s. Mine went south after over three months. I have to pay SeaGate a lot of money to retrieve data from a defect on their hardware. My data lost. I will pay to have data retrieved and stored on an external harddrive from now on. SeaGate can take a hike. Maxtor is an unsuported product!
